Valedictory Function Of Ten Days SC-SP Workshop Was Held At College Of Agriculture, Nagpur

Nagpur : College of Agriculture, Nagpur was organized “Tutorial classes for preparing students for National & International Competitions” under Strengthening and Development of Higher Agricultural Education in India for Scheduled Caste- Sub Plan 2019-20 from 24th February to 4th March, 2020. For this workshop total 122 students were registered.

The valedictory function was held on 2.30 P.M. of 4th March, 2020 at VIT Hall, College of Agriculture, Maharajbag, Nagpur. Mrs. Bhagyashree Banayat (IAS), Director of Sericulture, Directorate of Maharashtra State, Nagpur was Chief Guest in her speech she said that “we cannot change the situation, but we can overcome by fighting with strong confidence.”

Function was presided by Dr. D. M. Panchbhai, Associate Dean, College of Agriculture, Nagpur. He said in his speech that student should always stay committed toward studies & try to stay focused while study. Successful students always focus on the tasks at hand.

The introductory speech was given by Dr. Nishant. V. Shende Coordinator of SC-SP Committee, Prof. Vilas Telgote conducted the function. Dr. Chandrashekhar Gaikwad member secretary of SC-SP proposed vote of thanks.

For this workshop member Dr. Harish Sawai in support to Dr. R. P. Gajbhiye, Dr. S. S. Bawaskar were taken efforts to streamline the workshop. During ten days eminent experts from various fields were delivered the lectures on various topics regarding competitive examinations to the scheduled caste students of the college. On this occasion Dr. Dangore, Dr. Bagade, Dr. More, Dr. Rathod, Section of Heads, teaching & non-teaching staff was present during the valedictory session.
