(49) is the founder president of Shramik Elgar, a registered trade union of rural unorganised sector working in Vidarbha since last 20 years. She has spearheaded campaigns for liquor prohibition in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra.
She has championed the cause for tribal land rights, forest rights and rights of women and children through on ground leadership of various movements. She was awarded the prestigious Maharashtrian of the Year Award by IBNLokmat Media Group, the Rukmini Puraskar by Yashwantrao Chavan Open University and the Mahatma Gandhi Vyasanmukti Puraskar by Maharashtra State Government. She is the recipient of the prestigious Yale University World Fellowship and Ashoka Fellowship.

Vitthal Govind Lad(57) is a veteran human rights activist and a mass leader. He is the Founder-President of Kashtakari Shetkari Sanghatna, an organisation working for the rights of Dalits, farmers and tribals, since the last 36 years. He also leads the ‘Shramik Mukti Aandolan’, which played a key role in securing the lands of indigenous peoples in Aarey, and across 10 districts in Maharashtra. He is associated with the Aam Aadmi Party for the last 7 years and has served on the party’s state executive and has also been a state-level party spokesperson.

Dr Ananda Dadu Gurav(40) is a medical doctor and an Ayurvedic Practitioner, with his expertise as a paediatrician. He runs a private medical super speciality hospital in Kolhapur.
He is passionate about health care and has led several campaigns for better healthcare services for the marginalized and quality healthcare in Govt hospitals. He is a published author and has written books on medical ethics and Marathi literature.

Nandgaon Assembly Constituency in Nasik District of Northern Maharashtra
Vishal Vadghule(29) is an auto mechanic by profession and has worked with the party since 2013. He is the convenor of the party in Nandgaon Taluka and has led several agitations for agrarian distress , civic issues and drought relief.

Kothrud Assembly in Pune district of Western Maharashtra
Dr Abhijit More( 35) is a medical doctor by qualification and is currently working with Saathi Sehat, an organization in working for access to quality and affordable healthcare.He is also the Maharashtra state co-convenor of Jan Arogya Abhiyan, which is a state level network of NGOs and activists championing the cause of the right to healthcare and holding the Govt accountable.Recently, he led a successful agitation which included himself going on an indefinite hunger strike, which resulted into the functioning of the Thackeray Hospital in Kothrud, which was non-operational for the last 8 years.He has been leading the agitation for the implementation of the RTE in Pune and this movement has seen large scale success across many schools, mainly benefiting the marginalised. He has also been an civic activist involved in raising civic issues with popular support with the Pune Municipal Corporation. He is the recipient of the prestigious Ashok Manohar Yuva Puraskar by the PMC Municipal Employees Union for his contribution to healthcare in the city.He has been active in the party at a city leadership since 2014.

Siraj Khan(47) is an entrepreneur, involved in the manufacturing of various electrical products for power distribution companies and industrial applications. He is a known name in the industry and has been widely acknowledged for his work.He has been engaged in philanthropy in slum areas, especially education for the needy. He is the Vice-president of the transport wing of the Party in Maharashtra and is associated with the party for the last 6 years, since inception.

Dilip Tawde(61) is a former trade unionist and is an entrepreneur involved in the business of provision of human resources. He is associated with AAP, since 2013 and is a grassroots volunteer. He has been involved in social work in the Dindoshi area, for the last 30 years, especially in philanthropy & education for girls.He has played a key role in the Aarey movement for the right to housing for tribals and the consumer issue of high electricity bills.

Parvati Constituency, Pune District of Western Maharashtra
32 year old Sandeep Sonawane is a youth leader of Aam Aadmi Party and is Co Convenor of the AAP Youth Wing, Maharashtra. In his 10 years of public life he was led many movements including the Mahila Bachat Gat movement in which more than 5000 women participated. He is a known Right to Education activist in Pune who has helped more than 23,000 school students secure admissions.
He is passionate about bringing change in devalued education system of Maharashtra and representing the voice of our youth.
